One of those days

Today was one of those few days when everything didn't go according to plan. Didn't mean it's completely screwed tho'. Just.. Scattered all over the place. Like Bumi's vomit *ohno

So the kids hitched a ride with a friend, a neighbour -unplanned
And the husband got his ride to the airport almost an hour after the requested time - unplanned
As I started translating, B's teacher texted me, asking me to pick him up because he didn't feel well - totally unplanned
So the wife picked up the boy, and the girl.
And we drove to the mall duh!

Last Day of Bumi's K2

Blueberry Cheese Cake Penghibur Lara

Rajab 5th 1435 H was Bumi's July 8th 2008. His 6th Milad in Islamic Calendar. Alhamdulillah...

Mom and Dad and pretty sister Najeela wish you the very best. May Allah SWT bless you with strength of iman, patience, and brain that goes beyond earthly matter. Amiin.

When asked what he wanted for breaking his fast that day, he'd said spontaneously, "Blueberry Cheese Cake!". And so we'd gone to this bakery and bought a slice. Maghrib came and he put his small fork over the cake. 'Aaaargh!' If ever there was a description for a cheese cake as fluffy-soft-melted, then this particular cake was anything but.

And today, Rajab 16th (12 days after), still early in the morning, came one big Harvest plasic bag containing a carton box and two cans of Cookies Harvest. Super excited, the Spidey Boy looked like this:

Ini baru Soft, Fluffy, Melted Cheese Cake, sesuai standard lidah normal ^_^ Enjoy Spidey Boy!

Bumi's 1st Visit to Pedodontist

So Eager and Nervous, he jumped on the seat before 
the dentist told him to hahaha

Pedodontist is a dentist, specializing in kids dental care. Back in 2011 Najeela had her 1st visit in KMC, Kemang. We were planning to take Bumi there, but our last couple of visits did not allow any appointment. Busy, busy, busy. Engagements and weddings here and there.

Drummin' The Day

Bumi is playing the drum to some unfamiliar song. Nice song, maybe titled Serendipity. I'll look it up on 4shared later. Not too fast, just the right rhytm for Bumi practicing his 123 beat. He insisted on using his spidey mask btw.

Bumi: After School

Bumi's ritual everyday after school,  if mommy stays home that is.  Joining his daddy in the meeting room and takes over whatever gadget he could confiscate.  Kidzui would be in order then ^_^

When nothing can be confiscated,  well,  there's always the pantry there on the same floor.

Papu,  Najeela, Bumi,  they arrived home at around Maghrib time just in time when the electricity is out.  Ouch!

PLN always has a way to make our day.  Pitch black,  since we don't have a proper emergency light,  yet.  We managed tho,  with a couple of exhausted flashlight. I mean,  they literally struggled.

Snack in the dark

I cooked the prepared floured chicken with the help of my loyal tab camera flash.  Thanks to the hard reset, I haven't had any flashlight app installed yet.
Anyway that reminds me.  My next post will be a list of the must-have apps in my GT P7500. Guess I'll be needing it since wiping clean is kind of a habit now. Ugh.

Adiik where are you?

Jeela is coughing today, so bubun said, "not too many oreo, only one today ok".

Ga lama adik ilang, dicariin ada di balik pintu mamam oreo. "why are you hiding?" adik bilang, "because i'm not coughing mom" sambil pasang muke bersalah takut diomelin.

O iya, adik lagi suka eksperimen pake bahasa indonesia. Kemarin seharian ngomong, "aku mau going aja ya". Yaolooo I wanna bite you babybum2.

Bumi's 1st Step Potty Training: Passed!

Moms... Grandmas.. Happy Mother's day! 

It's been 17 days of poop-free diaper. Yaaayyyy!!! Yipppeee!!! Congratulations kiddo, I consider you passed that one part of potty training. And it's not without struggle, right B? In your 2 years and 5 months of age it is :D Thank you for a great mother's day gift this year. You're one amazing baby boy with so much energy to express. Never cease to inspire us and really really give the word 'patient' a whole new meaning for us, your sister, papu, and bu2n.

Anyway, I think we can relax a bit, take a deep breath before we start your pee-in-potty training going. Insya Allah ya B. Papu has started teaching you to pee in the potty, and you've done well. Next we learn about keeping your pants dry ;) Everyone can make it. Including you...and me.

Yang Ngamuk di Tempat Les

Hari ini adik ngamuk. Tumbeeeeeen. Biasanya nggak pernah protes kalo dibawa keluar dari kelas lesnya mbak Jee. Hihihihihihi semuaaaaaaaa nengok deh ngeliat siapa yg bikin rusuh sore ini. Alhamdulillah sampe mobil bisa tenang, bisa diajak ngomong. Tentunya setelah Bu2n pura2 nangis heheheheheee....

Preliminary Interview: TK Aisyiyah

Super excited!

Hari ini jadwal pengembalian formulir TK Aisyiyah. Jeela ga bisa jawab almost all yg kepseknya tanya hahahahahaa. Silly girl. S'okay baby, you're still our star ☺

Meanwhile, It's the 2nd day of Vuria black out. 1st day was scheduled. 2nd day, today, is a blown out Trafo. Since 2am this morning, still ongoing up till now, 22.00. We checked out a hotel nearby, and it's not that worth it. Driving all the way to Jayapura for Swiss-bel or Aston is not an option, considering Bim2's condition (brebet & nguing). So, we stick to our Vuria home. Alhamdulillah, adik sampe rumah langsung bobo. One down, 3 to go. God, have mercy. Please bring us civilization. Get us electricity.

All in all, kesimpulan: Not the Perfect Day to Pull Out a Molar Tooth T_T
